- Personal Information
- PointPatrol.com will not disclose any user's personal information
or share any information the user has stored on the Point Patrol
web site's database.
- Data Backup
- Point Patrol is not responsible for any lost data in the
user's database. Point Patrol has provided the user a way
to backup their databases on the Database>Backup screen and PointPatrol.com's
hosting server, BlueHost, does a daily, weekly and monthly backup
so the data is pretty safe. If there is a crash, sometimes a
day may be missed if it crashed before it got a chance to backup
for the current day.

- Memberships
- Memberships are currently free, however, this may or may not
change in the future. A membership will stay active as long as
the user's Point Patrol system is accessed at least once a month.
If after a month, it has not been accessed, a notice will be emailed.
If ten days after the notice is sent, the account has still not been logged into, the account will be terminated;
the databases will be deleted and the user
account will be removed. The only other possible ways this account
will be terminated is if the user cancelled it their self by
selecting Cancel from the Membership menu option or if for some
reason Point Patrol goes out of business.
- Cookies
- Cookies are saved on the user's hard drive when the user logs
in to the Point Patrol system for only two reasons. They help
keep unregistered users from accessing the system and
they provide convenience so the user does not have to log in
each time the system is run. The cookies
are set each time the user accesses the Point Patrol system and
will remain active on the user's hard drive for 90 days unless
the user logs out prior to that. This means that the cookie will
never expire as long as the Point Patrol system is accessed at
least once every 90 days. If it is not accessed for 90 days,
the user will be taken to the log in screen the next time the
Point Patrol system is run.
